(Updated w/ New Pictures) Unsure about the gender of my CR shrimp

I can only hope at this point! This morning i've woken up and I can't see any of them. I'm hoping that they're molting

Final Update: Both of the CRS have turned out to be females  I put a bright light underneath the shrimp, only to discover that both had a circular patch on the top of their bodies (which I assume were the unfertilised eggs). My only option now is to go back to the pet store and buy a male this time.

I'm just hoping that getting a female will actually make them have babies. I'm not prepared to be spending money frequently, CRS aren't cheap.

You should be able to some CRS from here from someone for alot cheaper then you will pay at the LFS.

What i've noticed is that there deffinetly is a huge difference with stomach size between my CRS and my female RCS. Even if my red cherries didn't have saddles, the fat stomach makes it obvious that they're females. With my CR's I don't see the fat stomach, nor do I see a saddle in both.

 

You're probably right, but I'll probably just stick to getting my CR's from the local pet store. If in the future I want a breed that won't be obtainable at a pet store, then i'll probably ask someone on this forum if they're willing to sell.
