Red rilli-my new found love ;)

This will be my red rilli shrimps tank. At first I wasn't really a fan, but after have a few on my tank. They have grown on me and now I am loving them. For all the different pattern on their body. Each and every one is so different.

I was having tds problem with my tank after going fir a year or so without water change. Now it is slowly dropping after doing small water change 4l per day with ro water.

Very nice tank and setup Kev. They will love it. I wasn't a big fan either but end up getting some from Gino and i love them now :)

Rili's are OK .... give me a pumpkin or quality red any day.

current stock:

30 blue gene rilli (12f/4m, the rest unsex)

6 michling they are at adult size, and from what I am looking at they all look male.

soon to add a few tb and michling to the tank, untill my saving piglet is full again ;(

Very nice setup. I love your Aquascape!

I wasn't to fussed on red rilli's when I first saw them online, but after getting some they have grown on me heaps. I especialy like how you can clearly see the eggs of a berried female!

I was having problem with tds in this tank. It was sitting at 400ppr + but since adding to water slowly everyday it has drop down to 200 now ;).

Will be monitoring.

I've move all of my rilli into a 3ft tank with minimum plant so I can see them clearer ;)

just found this berried female this morning. Normally the eggs is yellowish colour, but this one have greenish/blueish eggs.

Sorry for bad iPhone pic, hence the colour is not true.

Any idea if the colour of the eggs determine the colour of the shrimplet ;)

i notices some have yellowish eggs and some have greenish/blueish eggs.

there is a greyish/green looking cherry. Will try taking better pic.
