That's what I was thinking as I typed my post too lol but I'm far from a snail expert.

Pretty sure they are different. Does it eat your plants when there is food in the tank? It would be an apple snail(Ampullaria paludosa)

The Mystery snail (Ampullaria cuprina) tends to only eat plants as a last resort. They are closely related.

I'm pretty sure Golden Mystery, Mystery and Apple Snails are the same but hey I could be wrong, I used to keep Golden Mystery Snails, they are cool, never touched my plants, just cruised around and cleaned up, but you'll need a cover on the tank, they do go walk about, haha.
