I have a five minute power nap every half hour & it gives me over 8 hours sleep each day, hahaha :victorious:

As long as the cycle has completed & your ammonia & nitrite levels are zero, if everything stays stable after that then it should be ready for shrimpies :encouragement:

Usually about 2-3 weeks but Ineke's took about 6-7 weeks, it all depends on the ammonia & nitrite level :encouragement:

Mine ended up taking 8 weeks to 0 ammonia but I put shrimp in at week 7 ammonia 0.25 but it was a deep tank with a decent amount of water and I tried a few kamikaze shrimp for a week first. Not recommended until 0 ammonia but don't forget the other WP's as well.

Ok guys not even 24 hours and this are the results

Day 1

ammonia 0.25

ph 5.5 - 6.5

nitrate 0

nitrite 0

tomorrow will be day 2 as I set the tank up this morning so tomorrow afternoon I will do another test and I will upload the photo of the results so everyone can see it and tell me what you think.

forgot to ask if temperature is good between 25 a 26 . Temperature goes from 25 to 26 but not straight away takes time to go down and takes time to go up I have an aqua one heater of 200 w. should I put a bigger one or another small one?

Looking good dude, you've started to get ammonia which is a great start, next you'll start to get nitrite & the ammonia will start to drop, then you'll start to get nitrates & the nitrites will drop. Once the ammonia & nitrites drop down to zero, do a 10% waterchange just to help get the nitrate down & then the tank is ready for new inhabitants :victorious:
