I'm gonna get some Mini Fissidens :cheerful:

WOW!!!! so many shrimpies and that CBS GIRL!!!!!!! that's hot.

yes unfortunately cherries like ph 7.5 but crs cbs prefer 6.5...decisions decisions.

i have however found that after 2 generations in a 6.5 tank. cherries will acclimatise and breed prolifically again.

very sad to hear about the dark female :( but omg look at how many cbs babies you have!!!

Just read this thread really nice clean looking set up.

I also use the JBJ, it was running on my Aqua One 30cube, but now I have it connected to the 2foot divided.

How are you finding it keeping pace with this summer? I hear mine kicking in alot of the time but keeps the temperature a nice 23 degrees. I was thinking of maybe upgrading to the larger JBJ for next summer.

The chiller has been magnificent for this summer, it really is a must have for shrimp tanks!

Oh man beautiful!!!!

Thanks for sharing the photo's mate. It's always interesting to see the respect shown to animals overseas.

no shrimp? shame on you!

no shrimp? shame on you!

LOLLL it crosses my mind every single time I go overseas! And to think that I was allowed to take the green lane despite having food to declare this time, DAYUMM!

Wow thanks for the pics HexaD...It's amazing what they have in HK...Make me wanna go there right now..Cheers

Big sighhhhh... If only if only sighhhh... Thanks for sharing

Looks like you had a hell of a time in HK.

I visited GoldFish st myself several years ago and had LOTS of fun.

Don't remember seeing shrimp though, but I do remember the variety was amazing!

Cool pics HexaD!!!

Love the Blues mate, they're gorgeous! Would love to know when they're breeding for you ;-)

+1 on the blues very nice!

Mad looking blues!!

  • Author

Thanks guys but it's all thanks to Dean :D They were actually the high quality chocs/blacks from the April sale! I hope they will survive now since no cherry has been able to make it in my Cade, which totals to... nearly 50++ rilis/yellows/blacks. I have rebooted with Benibachi and now they have the 40cm cube all to themselves, the water parameters is now more suited, TDS is 360 in the cube compared to 250 in the Cade, so fingers crossed!!

very nice!

Nice Choc-blue cherries HexaD...Looks very similar to the Blue tiger shrimps...Best of luck in breeding them...:)

nice set up!

HexaD, just curious, did those blue Choc cherries stay blue, or did they revert back to Choc ?

And my only purchase from the trip bought in Hong Kong

Oh man, how much did the Totto filter cost in Hong Kong dollars? I might get one next time I'm over there

Awesome choc-blue cherries btw :)

Awesome looking shrimp dude, very cool indeed :encouragement:
