Some crazy stuff happening here water wise. PH is coming out of our RO DO unit at around 7.6 which has caused a huge swing in our tanks. Shrimp are doing ok but im guessing ill lose a few. Bloody water restrictions and council using more buffering stuff in the water i'm thinking. Heres hoping all is ok

Or you may need to change some cartridges in the RO unit...better do some tests?

RO unit is still fairly new. Asked another friend of mine that keeps fish and he said the same, ph nearly 8 from his unit also. Tested everything in my tank, gh kh, even calcium. everything is within normal limits, we'll see what happens.

Finally soughted out my Issue, ended up being a blown membrane in my RO unit, aswell as the DI resin expiring, doesn't take much to upset these little buggers!

You have an outstanding tank set up especially the dividers. Are those divider permanently?

I also have recently divided my 4 ft tank into 5 sections with persplex sheet. My setup is not as good as yours.

I love your feeding tray. Do your shrimps have any difficulty reaching food? Honestly, I'm totally inspired with your feeding tray as sometimes I do forget to take out food. Also substrate's colour is similar with food I've been feeding with except those greenies (spinach, mulberry).

Great work.

Thanks mate, they're permanent dividers yes.

Feeding trays work pretty well, shrimp have no dramas getting to the food and it provides a good spot for biofilm to grow also
