Hi everyone ,

Scott here , some of you may know me from fishy forums years gone by , some of you may know me from the facebook shrimp/aquarium/fishy pages , i even have my own little facebook page called aquarium gardens australia . I've been keeping fish of all sorts for years now at one time even breeding many in my shed set up . got sick of all that and got myself a display tank to enjoy with tank busters , once again got sick of that so opted to inhabit the tank with rainbow fish ...... with rainbows came the odd plant , and another , and another ......... then i found i was enjoying the plants more than the fish themselves ...... so was my wife , so i got her a little 2' set up with a led light and some plants , then some better plants . in this tank was pacific blue eyes and whiptails .... (though i tried to talk her into getting shrimp from the very start ) one day when buying some plants for our tanks the guy had some shrimp in his tank , knowing what would happen i asked him to throw a couple in the bag lol . Well bec fell in love with the cherry shrimp and i soon got her some more , before you know it she kicked out the fish and it became a dedicated shrimp tank lol . I also got rid of my rainbows and now only have a tetra community in my display 6x2x2.5 , I also plan to stock it with all our culls . so anyway we now have three little planted shrimp tanks , Bec has 2x 2footers and i have a little nano beside the bed , we still have the large display and plan to set up one more little planted shrimp tank (Bec has her heart set on some blue dreams )

thats us for now , we dont know alot about shrimp at all so hoping to learn a bit here .thanks

here are some pics of our humble set ups
