I removed the far right Seiryu Stone earlier, when looking at photos it seemed too out of place and large, so have replaced it with a smaller Seiryu Stone, half it's size, looks a lot better.

Also bought a cheap high pressure water sprayer today to give the tank a good misting each day.

cant you just use a hair spray bottle? ones you see when you get your hair cut?

isnt a high pressure sprayer abit over kill and will blow everything everywhere?

I was using one but it's spray is really weak, wanted something that had more pressure, doesn't blow anything away, works a treat mate.

lol yea the link you sent isnt what i was thinking, thats for sure, thats a good sprayer!

Looks great!

Starting to get some yellowing of the leaves on the HC, means it's too dry doesn't it?

  • Author

Have decided to reduce the lighting photo period from 10 hours to 8 now, seeing some yellowing of the leaves on the HC, am a little worried they could be getting too much light, keeping misting at twice a day though.

Looks great!

Thanks Demon, should be sweet as once it's spread and flooded with a small group of Shrimp in there.

Also, have turned the photo period back to 10 hours, 5 on, 2 off, 5 on and have started misting once a day seeing soil is nice and damp, have also order a hygrometer to check humidity within the tank, just a cheap $2.00 one should do the job.

Have been tempted to flood the tank I won't lie, so have kept myself some what busy with side aquatic projects to take my mind off of this tank, haha, so stay tuned I guess, I'll post the 3 little projects on here once complete.
