  • If you used mature filter media for the new tank, then don't forget to turn the heat up a bit to get those bacteria multiplying.

  • Few pic of the Tibee: So in this planted section of the tank I only have male panda and male Tibee with female crystal and female Tibee.

  • Found this in my twb tank today. Is it a black cherry? Do they have white tip on the tail?

Very cool dude, can't wait to see how you get on. :encouragement:

Awesome, they look like a nice couple and very much in love ! Just watch your PH, GH, and TDS. Not sure what soil you're using, but if it's not a buffering soil, ensure you add mineral powder weekly....I find a GH around 4-5 works best for me....

Good luck, and looking forward to the updates..

Beautiful shrimp Kev! All the best with the new TWB endeavour!

Will keep everyone updated. Soil is zeo lite, currently I am doing 10l water change weekly with salty mineral added. Tds is around 190.

I know this is a silly question, but I have to ask. When panda have a blue tint we call them shadow. What do you call a kk with the blue tint? Is there such thing as a shadow kk?

I would call it shadow kk if it holds it's blue colour. the only problem is when they are this young the black is not fully formed and can put a blue tinge on everything. One it grows a bit more you will know if it is a shadow kk. I hope so as that would look stunning.

Sure is shadow kk
