I have to say thanks GBang I finally got off my butt and sorted 2 tanks of Rilis and wouldn't have done it for a while if it wasn't for this thread. Still getting a lot of babies with some red on the clear body but can definitely see an improvement in them.

Awesome pics everyone, looks like there's some seriously good quality programs going on out there, well done!

All good and great to see some good rilli programs out there :D unfortunately the red rilli are actually very hard to breed true and selective breeding is absolutely necessary to keep a good line. My cull rage is more than 90 percent so yes I'm glad I got ur butt back into hear ineke :) and thanks for the compliments guys! Can't wait to show u guys my other rilli programme but for now let's keep sharing the red rilli luv!!!

One of mine getting 15mins of fame :)

I'm glad you mentioned the high cull rate as I was getting a bit disheartened with the number of culls I am getting. I cull hard and they are improving but still lots of culls- I am probably culling harder than I need but if there is any red where it shouldn't be or the colour is pale I won't breed from them. In the end it will be worth it. I also note that culling too early isn't a good thing as I have some very nice Rilis I need to catch out of my large cull tank it seems that even though they have stripes on the clear section it sometimes disappears as they mature. I have 2 main tanks with Rilis that I cull from. I keep the berried females in 1 and the best males a saddled females in another. Then at the moment I have room for 2 cull tanks for growing out and a final cull then the culls move into my shrimp community tank or out to a small pond I have. I was selling and giving away culls but not so much now as I have the room to keep them.

wow. 90% cull rate. i wasnt really expecting it to be quite that high but im only just starting out. something to keep in mind

I like the rilis especially the ones that look most like crystal shrimp....but that could be because I cant have crystals without outlaying some serious $$$$ in the water cooling department and my electricity bill just wont handle that.

Keep up the excellent work with the rili's and if I start finding the odd one in my collection I might have another attempt at selectively breeding them.

A couple of pics, unfortunately I can't claim credit for these they are from daydream

I only see the link but can see the photos by clicking on them. Lovely Rilis.

Some nice shots there shrimpstan, think i am changing my mind about rillis, especially blue gene red rillis!!

@shrimpstan - you need to get the IMG code or you can paste the URL code(the one you've posted) in the attach pic box

Just got sent a picture from daydream of one of the few that he classes as quality to continue the program.

Absolute magic looking Rilli.
