Featured Replies

If you can't find any locally I may be able to send you some for postage costs.

niceeeee :encouragement:

Hi BB, thanks for ur reply.. so when u say hot water do u mean like boiled water? do u need the leaves to be soft before u put them in the tank? how about the stalk of the leaf.. is it safe to go in too?

sorry for all the questions i just dont want anything to go wrong :p

once i get this down pat i too can help with those who need some. the tree over the fence is massive def has no pestacides as its a rented place and they never do any gardening.. n ive lived here 7 yrs.

Yes boiling as you want to break down the leaf just like boiling veggies, also to kill any nasties. An easier method is place in water and microwave for a min or so. Stalk is safe but the shrimp won't touch it in my tanks so best cut it out, when shrimp finish dining on it you will be left with the veins of the leaf only.

we have some mulberry leaves if anyone wants some . . No chemicals what so ever . . The plant is grown in a big pot in our backyard . . The plant actually showed up mysteriestly

we presume it grew from bird crap :)

theres 3 more baby mulberry plants now aswell

I might have to grab a couple next time i see you, i was sent some and forgot to freeze them and left them in cupboard and they went bad....real bad lol.

Funny tho i would boil them for ages and put the min the tank and my shrimp would touch them
