thank you all, im happy with the shrimp and the scape so far :)

I had not checked this thread in a while, somehow missed the pics of the full scape on page 4... thats an awesome setup, the scale of the rocks makes it look massive! well i guess it is in a 6ft tank ;)

  • Author

thanks Mr Fox, yeah the rocks are huge so lucky it is in the 6foot :) i would only fit 2 of them in my 4 foot :dejection:

all good mate, ill just breed some more :)

patients is something i have plenty of ...

So sorry to see those dead shrimps :sorrow:

It's a beautiful tank Dean, but might be an idea to focus on your shrimp room for now. Especially since your wife can't do her hair there! :beaten:

  • Author

my thoughts exactly mate.. can you convince your wife to let you have a 6 footer ???

Ha! I wish I could! Plus I don't think there's room for a 6-footer in my place anyway.

Biggest one I can fit is a 4-footer :(

Hey Dean, tank looks great! A shrimp's dream home :)

Definately different from the tanks I keep. I can't stand to see bare soil. So I have covered it in mosses :p

Bummer about the shrimps, that is why I must cover the tank when we spray our orchids with sprays.

I will buy a new house Dean just to have that tank :)

wow sorry for the loss, im sure your wife's intentions were good as she wanted to spend more time with the husband who stays in his shrimp room all the time! :D

definitely keep the gorgeous tank, after the deaths they deserve a second chance!

Dean, i nearly fainted when you lifted your tank lid up, showing me your sump setup. I was concentrating more on the dead shrimps than your sump layout at the time LOL.

My daughter fell in love with your cat and she wants one now. I told her shrimps are nicer and easier to care for and that i would get her a blue one, since its her favorite colour! Time to save up a bit lol.

BTW, sorry for your loss :(

poor bugger sorry to hear
