  3. Been selecting Mosura BB's, Tibee and Pinto to gain some momentum to develop a spotted head bluebolt pinto. Wishful thinking perhaps, but a selective program nevertheless...pics of some of the breeding stock/base brood....

  5. Haven't updated many of my thread/post...been stupidly busy :-) Noticed this panda, enough for me to take a pic and share... Others in the colony are also showing great colours.. Then there's my favourite, the BB MOSURA shadow.

  6. Hopefully this should answer your question Squiggle. One thing I didn't think of is where the outlet 40mm pipe was meant to enter the sump is a 25mm hole. LOL So I will have to just have the 40mm go straight into the top of the sump. Here is a front on of the rack so far. There are 6 holes drilled into each spray bar. The pump I am using is rated at 240 lt/min with a header height of 8 feet (the inlets to the top tanks are about 7 foot). It works out theoretically each hole could have a flow of 74ml every second,or 400mls a second per spray bar, crazy.

  8. Had previously divided the red v blacks tibee's, but decided 2day to combined them to create a "spare" tank for more selective breeding.... Accommodation a tad crammed, BUT filter turnover is approx x 15, plus WC @ 10% twice weekly, plus sponge filter...:yikes:

  10. Well the evolution of pinto zebra's is near complete...shrimplets are maturing and stripes are more noticeable now. Cleared 50% of the moss on my tanks over the past 24 hours, and these are the latest pics of the zeb pinto's.... Have variants from white ONLY tail/black body, 1, 2, 3, to zebra patterns....trust the next F series would produce a greater variety, and secure the patterns/genetics. Now for the spotted head...
