Been selecting Mosura BB's, Tibee and Pinto to gain some momentum to develop a spotted head bluebolt pinto. Wishful thinking perhaps, but a selective program nevertheless...pics of some of the breeding stock/base brood....1 point

I would say that comes from your Black most of them carry a blue gene. Keep an eye out for more you are sure to get some. You should really keep your different coloured cherries in different tanks as they will interbreed and you may end up with wild type cherries plus you lose your true colour lines. OR you can end up with some interesting types but once they start crossing it's hard to bring the true colur back. I have a huge number of culls that have interbred - they were in my large cull tank - now I have heaps of unwanted shrimp that I can't really do anything with -there are some nice ones in amongst them but I can't really reintroduce them to my breeding colony and they aren't interesting enough to try breeding any particular line with them. Just a little warning because they breed very quickly!1 point

Firstly, that's awesome daydream....hope to see a colony of them soon...1st dibs. :-) Ineke, there won't be a showdown, it's a hobby, not a competition. BUT, I only have emerald green rilli's ... Can't seem to post/see any emoticons.....but would have chosen the one sticking the tongue out ....lol1 point

So glad it has finally happened for you Ineke, i know how you must have felt with nothing happening, but perseverence eventually pays off. This is one reason i am being so patient with my third attempt at CRS and making sure my tank and all parameters are stable. It will be so exciting to see baby shrimplets swimming when my time comes (can't wait). I am so happy for you, good luck and enjoy1 point

Note to self, line breed low grades for the crazy people lol. I love how everyone has their own ideas as to what makes a good looking shrimp At least we will have alot of variations in patterns and colours as everyone breeds what they consider a nice shrimp, gotta be good for the hobby.
