Hi all! Thanks for having me here on skf. I used to use this forum a lot under another name (ShrimpDesigns I think it was). But admitedly started using Facebook groups a lot more. Seems like there is still plenty of names around that I recognise which is great to see! Anyway, im back now and hope to share some good stuff with you all. Currently Keeping: - Fire Reds - Green Jades - Blue Dreams - Yellows - Sunkists Wishlist: - Red Spotted Head German Pinto - Blue Bolts - King Kongs - Many more Taiwan Bees also, but ill keep it at that for now ?

Thank you Simon! I have kept caridina for a while yes. I hate to be plugging my own account already but I have an Instagram with plenty of my own photos. Plenty of pictures of the shadow pandas, blue bolts, wine reds, king kongs etc that I see to have. It’s @aqualabs_ on Instagram if you want to see. :)

The photo on the other thread shows female with large eggs but they are yellow and no dots so those eggs may have been unfertiized? Changes in water parameters will encourage molting, so new shrimp that are added will likely moult when added! Moulting, in turn, is usually the beginning of the breeding period for females so that all sounds quite normal so far. Just keep on watching and hopefully you will get some newly berried and fertilized females soon? Simon

I’ve had a berried girl drop her eggs in her moult (twice), but never just drop them on their own.

Ok they are acting weird not sick weird but...horny? I just got these guys last Tuesday. They just been put in this new tank this morning and theirs already molts...tthe males been swimming around since I released them like they looking for something the females are grazing...The berried female which I’m sure was berried when I received her aborted those eggs and now I think I just saw a male try to mate with her which of course she’s probably not even close to being ready... did she abort because she’s going to molt again? Has anyone else had this happen?

I literally watch my female shrimp drop all her eggs..... and I’m unsure why she did this help!
