    You would want too reduce your current levels to 200 -250. So do as i mentioned before. Yes that is plenty of surface area, but how old is your tank? The substrate doesn't come with beneficial bacteria on it. I'd say your tank is not cycled properly. Not sure what bioboost is but i can bet you it has no nitrifying bacteria.

    They have some very good quality foods. Get that if you can. And supplement with some fresh leaves and frozen bloodworms, and your shrimp will have everything it needs.
