A bit too much. Try 10% weekly. But we are getting ahead of ourselves. I order for us to make an informed decision and give you accurate suggestions, we need to know what water parameters you have in your tank. Temp pH GH KH TDS Ammonia Nitrate What sort of propeller? Is it shrimp proof? This is the biggest cause of shrimp deaths. An improperly cycled tank that still has ammonia. The ammonia and nitrate tests above will help us confirm if your tank has cycled. Just leaving a tank to run for 1 week or 2 weeks, or even 4 weeks does not mean it has cycled. Beneficial bacteria is a living thing. It needs food (ammonia), oxygen, and warmth (27-28 deg C).

Bloody Mary actually don't come out in pictures very well... but they are kind of translucent as they have red flesh rather than a red shell. Fire reds, to my understanding, should be more opaque in coloration. I have Bloody Mary from two different lines... and honestly, they don't look the same! LOL They are both red shrimp, but one line the shrimp are more of a vibrant rich red, and the others are a darker red...

I can't say what they are and will leave that to others, but when you bought the shrimps were they in a single colour tank or mixed with different colours, so then the babies could be cross bred. Of coarse they may have cross bred before they got to the place that you bought them? Are these the shrimp in with the red crystals in the 16L? They have very good colour! Simon
