Hi @Chindy 120 litre tank is on the larger size for a shrimp only tank. Good job as it helps to keep the water stable with such a large volume. You could probably keep several hundred in a tank that size as long as you keep their water clean, lowish nitrates etc, and had plenty of plants/moss for them to graze off. Baby shrimp can be moved pretty well anytime after you can actually see them. Get yourself a proper shrimp net with super fine mesh so there is no entanglements and do a regular cull. This is the removing of any shrimp that does not come up to your high standards.. lol.. I laugh because my own tank quickly became populated with sub standard RCS as i didnt want to cull any. Big mistake on my part. Post some pics so we can see what you have.

Until recently I have used Subwassertang almost exclusively in all my tanks. It is fine on SS mesh and grows into a round bush. I grow it on large matrix balls, tie it to driftwood and rocks. All my tanks are low tech but the Subwassertang grows so well I have to regularly trim it and have a bucket full of it outside. I use fine fishing line to tie it down well.mr

Been selective breeding the green in cherry shrimps for 12+ months, using yellows, blue velvet, reds!....that i identified carrying the colour variant... After F5-6, the colony is starting to produce some weird colours/shades. Recognising temporary colour changes with cherries etc... I have been observing this cherry for the past 4 months, and it has remained this green, and in fact is starting to intensify its colour over the past 2 weeks.... Anyone with a similar program, please do feel free to add to this thread, so that our community can see where this colour variant is heading.... Or if you have a individual cherry with these attributes, whether a temporary colour "fake" or the real deal.... Just interested to know what's out there etc .... Oh and 1st dibs :-)
