I drew a Yabby shape on the pvc and cut it out with a Dremel. - Folded it into place with a heat gun - legs made from coat hangers - feelers made from zip ties and 40lb fishing line coloured in with black marker - stuck it together with hot glue gun The fake bamboo was made by scuffing up the pvc with 40 grit sand paper - giving it a few coats with black sponge applicator shoe polish - green spray paint over the top - then go over with shoe polish again - put a couple of beads of hot glue to make the bamboo rings and colour them in with black marker I also fancied up the pvc Yabby homes with 2 dollar shop river stones and fake grass from ebay Tried hot glue but that was too weak - silicone provided the hold I was after also had to make a stand to raise it off the bench a little -

That's a very valuable tip. I think I saw that same video where he used speaker wires. And I have some handy as well. Was going to use it until I read your post. But $76 and free shipping really is a good deal. I used to remember they were like $300 when it first came out.

@KeenShrimp I tasted a bit before I made the new batch haha, It was highly alcoholic, just tasted like kind of sour beer, I don't think it would be too hard to make it taste decent haha.

Nice betta @Zebra. Good to see pics of fish every once in a while on SKFA.

http://www.aabio.com.au/crayfish-list/ My favorite is the Lamington crayfish Euastacus sulcatus but the Tasmanian giant, Astacopsis gouldi, is not far behind. Incidently it is the largest freshwater invertebrate in the world.
