Thought I'd share this around. For a long time I've dropped test tubes and dried them awkwardly. I stumbled across this "plate holder" in IKEA and straight away knew what to use it for! Only $2.99!

Just an update.. Tank is doing really well. Removed the driftwood because it was growing all sorts of fungus. Getting some good growth in the plants!

I have a Red Cherries colony thriving in my discus tank. Also have Caridinas and Paratya in the same tank. It's a 240l, hosting 4 discus 12 cms wide, 2 Synodontis and a gang of 12 rummy noses and 12 tetra néons, 4 Planchax, and several corydoras. There's a nice driftwood inside, numerous plants, and Riccia fluitans for hidding fry and shrimplets. This setup is working for more than a year now, and I still see the shrimps inside. I believe some shrimplets are being snacked by the fish, but my discus do not worry about the shrimps.
