That's good progress Vicky. Keep it going if you can. Get it down to 274 as the target, the same as your tapwater. Do you have any idea what the water parameter is where the RCS came from?

Thank you all. I dont have crayfish. Just picked a nick name.[emoji16] I have some red cherry shrimps for last 2 months. Fairly new to keeping shrimp. Hope to learn more from you experts.

Definitely go solar Jamie. I have had free electricity for 4 years plus money back. We were lucky and got the higher feedin tariff but paid more for our system but even if you don't get money back the bigger systems - ours is 4.5 KW - can really help with those electricity bills = more tanks.

I have a 3000 litre poly tank and has a leaf strainer thingy on it. No discolouration to water coming from it so far. Will do heaps of waterchanges today and also put some in ro canisters as backup. Then do test refills on cull tanks first once new roof is up. Thanks everyone.

All things in good time. Lol. Thanks for for the feedback. Best thing about a new roof is we have been putting off installing solar. Looks like I may need to do some investigating now.

No need to apologise. Just some friendly feedback.
