Thought someone might ask about that @Grubs. I call it mini bolbitis, I actually have two types, this one and a smaller variant with thinner multi pronged leaves. They originally came from Harvey Creek near Cairns. mine seem to do really well in my CRS tanks, but poorly in my cherry tanks. Will post my set-up soon.

Very nice, and the best of luck with the babies. Sadly my false zebras failed to thrive and now after I put the remaining ones in with my DAS, DRN, Chameleon, Blackmore River I don't think I have any false zebras left.

I don't know if it matters for others :P I suspect not so much - most people who are new to the forum are also newish to the hobby. They'd be less likely to have things to sell. I've had a fair bit of experience with aquatic stuff in the past and the things I'd be selling are fast to propagate - plants and red cherries. The reason I subscribed is because I thought SKF was worth supporting, not because I wanted to be able to sell. Besides, I suspect a free-for-all market would just end up like the facebook forums - lots of people out for a quick profit at someone else's expense.

I've been doing a fair bit of buying/selling lately (at least 5 trades per week, every week for the last 2 months) and I have 2 comments. 1) I prefer SKF related trading to Facebook groups/Gumtree because the people here are generally a LOT nicer and less obnoxious/suspicious. But there just isn't that much available most of the time. 2) I admit that while I've got stuff to sell, I've posted it on Gumtree rather than here. At first it was because I hadn't bought the subscription and couldn't post, but right now, it's mostly through sheer laziness. For my part, I promise I'll remedy that laziness soon and start posting my stuff here. Hopefully others will as well.

You could also keep an eye out for the trees in the neighborhoods you frequent. For example, there are 2 trees within 3 blocks of my house and my son's school. I haven't bothered looking more since those will supply more than I need easily. Every time I've stopped to pick some, I get about 60 just from what's fallen after recent rains/winds. Just be sure to clean them so you don't put dog/bird poo etc in your tanks!

LOL ! Sometimes you need the voice of reason to smack you in the back of the head.

Noticed lots of activity in the tank over the last two days. Turns out there has been some moults and now there are more berries. Currently berried shrimp = 3 :) Trying out a new food. They like it pretty well.
