Tibee/mishling section this was originally all mishlings then i wanted to have a "play" lol so i took all the male mish out and left in 3 cbs phenotype female mish and a male and female oebt and i really love some of the patterns on the juvies so far particularly the ones that are nice and blue (the photos dont do the blue ones any justice at all) so next step is to cull all of the younger mish and just keep the bluer tibees. Full section shot And the inhabitants

I'll start with an update on the CRS and do the other sections over a few days. They are breeding nicely atm and got some really nice juvies coming up

So after 18mths & a number of different graphic designers, I have finally got the cherry shrimp family tree ready for peer review. I know there is a few additions to be added, like blue gene orange rili & green orange rili, any other suggestions will be gladly added.

The female carrys the eggs like normal freshwater shrimp but for 5 weeks, then they hatch into larvae and get released over a few days. The larvae swim around head down tail up for about 2 weeks before growing into shrimplets. They have little legs that flap around very fast, they are just up from their eyes on either side of the body, if you look carefully you can see the blur of the movement. These guys live for 20 years, don't need water changes and eat maybe one food pellet a month if at all (they eat algae and biofilm that grows naturally). truly amazing shrimp.

That lithium cover is cool. What the reason for decommissioning such an awesome looking tank?
