Glad you're all happy with your prizes!! Thanks for for participating in the Christmas competition. And a massive thanks to @NoGi @Disciple @OzShrimp and the SKF crew for making it all happen at a very busy time of year!! Hard enough to organise at any stage! Lol Enjoy!!

So I decided the CRS colony needed a new home, so I have reset the tank with new Benibachi soil and have planted it pretty heavy for the TBs. The tank is using an existing canister. So I allowed it to cycle for a few weeks, did a 50% waterchange, then added the TBs. Thankfully all new inhabitants have been doing really well. And first drop of Shrimplets has occurred. I have kept these TB in a single tank, with all colours together. Parents from Bluebolts, Dean's, and a couple of other breeders lines. Am getting a good mixture of shrimplets now, in all colours. I set up a diffuser and connected to CO2 bottle, but I heard of another option that was worth trialling. Sochting have a product called a Carbonator, which acts as a slow release CO2 diffuser. I have set one up today to test out, and will most likely stock these as a product next year, once the results are in.

Just a quck note, Have been using the fsa ro system for a few days now. Does exactly what it claims to do (zero tds) and easy to install (literally plug n play)

Yep, also known as chilli rasboras. I thought that chili/mosquito rasbora were much smaller than dwarf rasbora, but I may be wrong...

If I were to do that, I would also be interested in Boraras brigittae – Mosquito Rasbora. My dream is to have an 8 ft x 1.5 x 1.5 built into a wall with 3/4 types of nano fish plus shrimp. Maybe I should wait till then.... not that it will ever happen!

I am. But the question was asked how long it would last. It can last months if the conditions are right. In your situation, the water is being used up constantly. It's not being stored for months. I did say that if you are using it up, any container with a lid will be enough.

Thanks @fishmosy I never really got to the bottom of this, but it kind of went away. Did not really change my water change habits... although did move house and do a clean out... Tank is healthier than ever now!
