Just want to share my local zebra. Those are tiny ones, less than 2 cms long for adults, but they look so pretty. They come from a creek in the south of New Caledonia. The guy who gave them to me knows the secret spot... Sorry for the poor quality of pictures. Enjoy though.

I was perusing around the web and came across someone selling some tanks with side drop filters in the tank and it struck my interest as a possible option to avoid having a bigger setup on a sump. Unfortunately as it was a for sale thread it didnt show the filter part of the tank in detail so i am eager to learn a bit more about them and how exactly they are setup to work. heres the photo obviously its from another forum but so those can get an idea that arent sure what i am talkin about.

It has been a while since I have posted and I promised @NoGi I would post some photos I took recently so here is a few shots for everyone to enjoy :) I have ~10 adults and ~5 juvies of these guys. The juvies look quite good, so I am hoping they will be of high quality in adulthood also. I had a female drop some shrimplets about 2 days ago now, so hopefully more quality shrimp too! I am currently working on letting them get their numbers up, at which point I will begun "culling"/removing lower quality shrimp and working on getting their white as strong as possible as well as ensuring good colour throughout the shrimp and working on more colour into the legs. But this is a long way away at this stage! Let me start with a freshly born shrimplet! This guy is a couple of hours old roughly: One of my berried females (lower quality female but is very productive) A female (She is my best female but have never seen her berried) - She is also a little smaller than others. Can shrimp be stunted/runts like fish can? Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the thread and shots :)

Your CRS are looking alot like my tank atm! Shrimplets everywhere lol. I been neglecting my tank to and been thinking they wouldnt be breeding as i never see them berried but like clockwork always shrimplets in the tank!. Not good when i have to pull the tank down in 6 weeks! i dread trying to catch them and am anticipating alot will be unintentially culled with the tank drained lol
