Hey guys and girls just wanted to show my setup. Firstly i want to say a massive thanks to Baz (disciple) for holding onto this tank for me so i could sort myself out. The setup didnt come with a stand so i started with this Then after a bit of reinforcing, some 12mm ply for the shelf, fronts and sides, a tin of stain i was ready to pickup the tank. Now coz the tank was running and had shrimp in that were coming with it i was crapping myself about getting them here alive and well anyhoo i got it here along with 90% of the water and started to setup Then once all shrimp mosses and driftwood were in place i added the light and panels and this is the end result So all in all im absolutely stoked with how it came up and the move was much easier than i thought ( although i pondered how i was gonna do it for weeks lol) so stay tuned and over the next week or so I'll show you guys each division and whats in there cheers for taking the time to have a look

Thanks guys I appreciate it. 4th and final section is my favourite the CRS and a few chocs from another members line that are throwing dark blues but they are also too small to get a pic of yet

Okay, so just realised I have not been good at updating this thread! All shrimp have now been moved in and allocated their future homes (breeding programs). I have closed down the CRS jungle and also have now emptied the original rack. The CRS jungle is going to be fully reset with new benibachi soil and will be planted even heavier than previously. The original rack will now become home to guppy and Endler strains. Love their breeding and genetic potential! List of occupants of Rack 2.0 1. Tibee F2 2. Tangerine tigers, The Queen and some Fire Red Cherries 3. Pure TB tank. Pandas, Shadows, WR, RR 4. Skunk Pinto line. Yellow Cherries. 5. Red Rilis. Royal Blue Tiger male. PRL female. Red Bolt female. 6. Green Hulk potential males. SW mischling girls. Spotted pinto mischling girl. Blue Steel potential female. 7. Spotted Head pinto Line. Blue bodied Orange Rili 8. Bluebolts & Pandas from pinto lines. Choc cherries 9. CRS city 10. PRL x PBL bubs. PRL male. as you can see from the mix, getting back into cherry shrimp after a decent break. And also starting some unusual cross breeding experiments. Massive thanks to @ineke @Eshrimp @Disciple @Gbang for majorly helping in establishing my new colonies!! So much fun now the tanks are organised and everyone settled in! Now the next lot of fun can begin!!

Actually I'm just returning to keeping shrimps ( or any tank for that matter ) after a 2 year break.. Starting out small with a 2.5 gallon Nano.. But I've never been good at keeping things small.. [emoji1] In the past I've kept RCS and one of our locals Caridina simoni.. Oh and I'm from Sri Lanka.. Very few shrimp keepers here.. Limited varieties and very hard to find good quality shrimps.. But that makes it even more interesting.. [emoji12]

First section i have tibees and rilis.

Hi all, This is my tank setups at home, would love to get your thoughts and some feedback, advice etc as I am new to this. My questions would be for each tank and are as follows and I hope you guys could please advise me on: 1. What is the ideal temperature for my tanks? I currently have all tanks at 22-24'C, should they be different since I have different species? 2. What should the pH, Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate numbers be for my tanks? (will do testing over the weekend and hopefully have some feedback to compare with) 3. What is the ideal TDS for my water, and would they differ as each tank has different species? (will do tests when my pen arrives) 4. What foods do you guys find works very well? I am currently using Sera pellets, Hikari algae wafers and mini pellets 5. How often do you guys clean your tanks? Do you guys vacuum or clean your filters/sponges, and percentages of water changes each time would be great 6. Any general tips on baby shrimp survival rate, I have many shrimp-lets on the way and wanted some advice on how to increase survival rates If you guys could advise me these questions for each tank that would be so much help, thanks guys! 130L running black pinto mischlings I believe(please ID and let me know if i am wrong) with a few that are berried!, I've found it hard to find food they like, they only eat Sera... 120L running RCS and CRS, colony is establishing and doing very well. 20L, currently testing out selective breeding (first time doing this) (have just put a berried red pinto mischling in) My apologies on the photo quality and shots, have not had much time and these were pictures taken about 2 months ago, I will get better photos posted in the next few weeks hopefully 130 L pics 120 L pics 20L Cheers guys!

@NoGi I seem to be following your trend! I have just gotten back into livebearers starting with the wonderful endlers! Some of the girls from different strains do have different colouring to them. looking forward to many many pics from all the Endler breeders. heres one of my favourite pics at the moment. French Blue Star endler.

One of the great new features with this version of the forum is the Activity Streams. There are some out of the box and others that I can create for specific uses. One of the default ones is viewing all Unread Content and you can find this on almost every page:

Mishling section Theres not a great deal to show in this section atm there are some nice kk and panda aswell as rr and wr coming through but they are still too small for an iphone camera to pick up This section also houses a nice colony of black/choc cherrys 3rd section i have gb/sw with bb gene and im just starting to see some slight blue cheeks which im stoked about and also have a pair of reds in here too this section is very under stocked atm but theres lots of berried girls so that will change soon.

I used a threaded T-piece and a threaded tap. Again, easy to disassemble. ? The supplier is having fun with AQIS over labelling and has been going through the processes for a couple of months now. Unfortunately still no ETA on when it will be available again. i will definitely place a post when it's on the market again. So had some more time to play today, got the background on and ran final tests. so much nicer with black background. I just used the plastic roll. no nitrites, ammonia and only minimal nitrates after waterchange the other day. so in go the guinea pigs?!? these are are from my pinto and Tibee tanks. Not super fussed on the genetics, just looking forward to blue and red colony to watch.
