Gday SKFers Iv got a GB female that hatched her shrimplets 2 days ago and i can see them everywhere and she was hiding while hatching then today i see a fresh moult and when i see her she is half berried (compared to the first lot of eggs) so just wanted to get your opinion on whether its a problem with them not hatching or whether she has berried up literally the next day or if this is this even possible? Cheers guys any advice is appreciated

I have been thinking to myself (yes I do it occationally). We have Monday blues for blue shrimp and TGIF for Red shrimp. Now what about all the other coloured shrimp? when do the members get to show off their non red or blue shrimp. Since Wednesday is Hump day we might as well celebrate it by showing off our Non red or Blue shrimp. Here is my hump day contribution...

OK, so today I started my emersed aquatic plant set up. I'm using a large storage container tub with lid, take away food containers, Fluval Shrimp Stratum. Plants are Alternanthera reineckii 'mini', Glossostigma Elatinoides, Weeping Moss, Subwassertang Moss, Acorus gramineus (sold to me as Blyxa Japonica) and have Hemianthus callitrichoides coming thanks to Neo-2FX, cheers mate. I'm not too fussed if I lose the Weeping Moss, Subwassertang and Acorus, but would really love to get the AR 'mini', Glosso and HC going though. Tub has been covered with cling wrap and then placed over with the tub lid. Anyway, here is a pic, tub will be misted each day.

hmmm u dont have a rubber seal in it so i might go look on the floor! Winner Winner chicken Dinner! solved my problem! was on the floor lol
  8. Ronskitz
On mine sometimes the little rubber seal gets stuck to the tap. Is it possible youve dropped it when packing it up last? If this is the case bunnings sell replacements for the washing machine they should fit straight on

Plants have been taken out of Mum's Guppy tank and put into a container with Fluval Shrimp Stratum in it and placed in tub, thanks fellas. Also, started setting up the tub.

Everyone's pretty much summed it up. Everyone is welcome to enter, although there are limits if your not an aquarium society of vic member (can become a member which is always greatly appreciated) We hope to see lots of new entrants this year. Main things to know will be show details when announced, when entry forms are due, and when entries need to be benched in/sent to show chair

Yeah sorry crabs I read this yesterday but obviously forgot to reply. Spot on again Buck, Acorus gramineus. This would be a good one for one of your planned emersed setups crabs. You could try that Hemigraphis "Dragon Flame" you posted a pic of a while ago, and any of the other non-aquatics your lfs seems to like selling... I'm sure they'll stock "Dwarf Pongol" aka Mondo Grass and "Christmas Stars" aka Cryptanthus.

I'd say it's non aquatic, Acorus gramineus or dwarf sedge
