I have always been inpired by other members crs colonies and i feel like my own colony has finally started to follow in the foot steps of members like @ineke @newbreed and @Jenbenwren. Over the last month i have had a few berried females hatch their eggs. Now i have roughly 30+ shrimplets between 2-4 weeks old. Some of the females have also reberried. So i wanted to share some pics to help inspire some others.

Been a long time since I've posted! Bit of an updated pic from recent waterchange. Tank is being run on Shrimpy Daddy products now and it basically shows the results. Love the timetable and products. Going to try and be a bit more active on the forums from now on! Regards Jimmy

Keeping them in exact conditions breeds weaker shrimp, I will cop a bashing for that one but its true. All water has a cool season and a warm season even the tropics, so for health let the cool a bit, Make the comparison to us, if we live in a constant warm temp and get exposed to cold we get sick, if we are exposed to cold temps some times we are more resistant, I fit into the first one hate the cold. In the wild the Temp swings lots, BUT it swing slowly and can be as much as 10 deg or more once again slowly. I let mine swing and I lost some of the originals but what is there now is tough. I was going to jump on the soap box, but no, selective genetics mainly for colour weakens any thing as we can not test for physical resistance and strength, just a thought no finger pointed at all Bob PS bash now

Thanks Jamie very much appreciated, It has been one of my shrimpy dreams to have a section full of CRS and I am extremely happy I am getting there. I still have a long way before I get close you yourself and Ineke. Thanks for the inspiration! Have a little race with @wot_fan about getting to 100 first so fingers crossed I maybe in the lead...

Sorry, it's been a while since I've posted here. Nothing with shrimp really happens fast. Here's the difference of a Shrimp Daddy shrimp and a regular crs in the SD tank. This tank is solely dedicated to Shrimp Daddy products. It's been running since April of this year. I'm beginning to see some nice improvements in my shrimp. Their color and she'll thickness is looking very nice. Thanks Wilson!

Made a few more changes since the last update. A few more changes and plants to be added. Also wanted to introduce a couple of new arrivals. Finally starting to find oebt Shrimplets and some of them are stunning. Yaaahooòo!!! hoping for a tank full by Christmas. A few pale blue to colourless oebt shrimplets too. Will let them mature a bit to see if they colour up. Fingers crossed. Proud mum.

Your GH is ok, but if I was to fiddle with the water parameters, I would reduce KH a little, slowly, over a few water changes with either RO or rainwater.

I made my first batch of this 2 days ago. I had some Kale powder and supergreens so I added a teaspoon of both as well. Within seconds of going into the tank the shrimp in every tank were all over it and it was gone in a few minutes. Thanks for sharing the information for the recipe and to any one who hasn't tried it, I can highly recommend it This shows how it draws the shrimp out.

Havent done a update for this tank in awhile. I also have a new phone that seems to take decent pictures. I have ripped out a heap of dwarf hair grass and other plants. Next step is to take out the rocks and rescape the tank. This will happen after i move all the shrimp to my new tank. Also something of a little milestone for myself which has made me extremely happy. This is my first crs shrimplet to grow into an adult. It came from my the 3rd lot of crs to be born in my tank and one of 2 to grow to adulthood from that drop. I always thought i had two males until today.
