All the smaller shrimp are C. wilkinsi. The DAS are big old girls (estimate 3+ years old) approx 50mm in length. These were in a planted tank and the C. wilkinsi have been breeding like rabbits shrimp. Tank was well stocked with fish including Congo tetras, rummynose, cardinals that apparently never got the taste for shrimp. In the bucket there are some otos and native penny fish from Dave@Aquagreen also.

Well got a package from Callan during the week of some pond plants and what a package it was, I got Pickerel Rush, Marshwort, Hornwort, Elodea, Water Hyssop, Milfoil, Val, really liking the Elodea, Pickerel Rush, Marshwort and Val, I also put some Ambulia in there as well which I already had and so far all is going well, Goldfish seem to be happy with something new in there, gives them plenty to suss out and explore, they also don't seem to be coming to the surface much if at all from what I've seen to gulp some air, might sound odd but the water has cleared quite a bit as well. So in other words I am more than impressed with what Callan sent me and am extremely grateful as well, not only has he provided me with a load of aquatic plants but also aquatic knowledge, Callan has helped me out quite a lot in the past week or so, again I'm very grateful, also helped with how to pot each plant, what to use, at what level to plant them at, I'm really looking forward to watching this progress in time, going to look great. I've got 2 Comets, 2 Black Moores and 2 Shubunkin in there at the moment, all loving the new home, also ordered 10 White Cloud Minnows earlier as well which will add some life to it and will take care of the mozzies. Cheers Callan!
