What's next? I'm testing CRS in low pH. To see if the low pH will alter ... well, anything. pH is about 5.5. So far ... I'm not sure if it's my imagination ... but whites seem whiter, and I'm noticing more Pretty Legs, where they used to be plain before (I think). I can't be sure cause I have too many shrimp in the tank, so it's not like I see one shrimp change. Instead I see many shrimp, but the general impression is more pretty legs colouring up. I'm continuing to adjust this RO remineralising mix a bit more ... who knows, maybe I'll release it for sale.

After trying many different ideas to fill the holes in my dividers ( that stops babies getting through and also looks half decent and doesn't cost a fortune ) I think I have come up with a winning soulution. The main issue I had was my 3ft tank is up and running so I couldn't use silicone , I have being using my yet to be started 2ft tank to develope my inserts. I will trial the inserts for a couple of weeks on my 3ft tank and make sure babies can't get through ( holes are .25mm , I can over lap a second piece and make the holes smaller if needed )

I will probably replace the lead weight with something like a stainless steel nut or similar - I think a planted tank with the a few of the depth charges would look awesome a bit like a take from Avatar - well not quite but close anyway.
