Your RCS are looking good. This morning I got a delivery of 60 RCS can't wait to get home to get them in my tank. Typical this day is just dragging out :(

If you used mature filter media for the new tank, then don't forget to turn the heat up a bit to get those bacteria multiplying.

Here's a few pics of some of the banded or ringed girls. They are a lighter color as well.

Just wanted to send a big thanks out to OzShrimp for some awesome plants that turned up today!! Many thanks mate! There's heaps, my shrimp tanks are going to be a fair bit greener this weekend, am sure the shrimps will love them. AND, the bonus Nag thermometer he threw in has found its new home. Brilliant mate, above and beyond!!

Do you have a pic of the shrimp with the band? I'd be interested to see them. Great work on getting your shrimp breeding so well.

Tibees will be the outcome of that cross & you should get some pretty cool patterns. I just had a thought, if you aren't using RO water yet, does that mean you are using tap water? It might be an idea to test the ammonia level in your tap water, worth a try to rule it out.

To all SKF members, If you are thinking of getting out of the hobby and want to dump your shrimp in the toilet, drain or gutter ... don't. GIVE THEM TO MEEEE!!!!! I'll even pay for the shipping. If you are near enough for pick up, I'll even dispose of your aquarium tank for you free of charge!! <edit> - you might think I'm making light of the subject, but I'm actually kinda serious
