    This is not going to help but.. I showed the photos to a colleague of mine and she recons it looks delicate so might be Riccardia or Metzgeria. She thought it growing under water might have made it more etiolated and the thallus thinner. She is an expert on hepatics (ie. liverworts). She prefers to see it under a microscope though. Anyway, that's my second hand 2c :)

    It's not susswasertang, it has a mid rib. It looks like what I used to have as Monoselenium tennerum (mind my spelling). But they are variable plants.

    pellia grows stringy if you use low ligths , grows more compact and bushy in high lights.. im not sure but the photos look like it could be subwasertang.. im not too sure though :crushed: hopefully someone else can ID it 100% :)
