pm not working

Hi mods and admin, i was trying to pm fishmosy and got a message saying that I needed to delete some messages before I send more so I deleted a page of them and I am still getting the same message.

Have you recently moved from premium membership to standard? The standard membership allows for fewer messages to be stored, so you may need to delete quite a few to be under the limit. 'Sent' messages may also count so it might be worth deleting them if you need the other PMs.

I should still be on premium, i payed with cc and set it up to automatically take the money every year but in saying that I'm not allowed to post in the sales section so maybe something happened in the changeover from mod to member.

I will delete some sent messages and see how it goes.

your membership status under your avatar says "Member".

 

It should be "Premium Member" or even "Moderator" if you are a mod.

So yeah, it looks like something went wrong with the membership, and you are back to the minimal privileges.

Ok, so I just checked. Smicko was under the old "Premium Shrimp" subscription. The auto renewal on all of these were canceled when the forum changed over. So when it lapsed, it didn't auto renew. If it says "Premium Member" then it should all be sweet. This wasn't by design, it's just the way PayPal works. They don't allow for subscriptions to move from one owner to another.
