Pictures have not transferred over

Hi Nogi,

the pictures from the previous version of the forum software have not transferred over to the new forum.

Or the link has changed.

We have sticky posts like this one ...

http://shrimpkeepersforum.com/forum/index.php?/topic/4403-temperature-effects-on-shrimp-eggs-hatching-gender-of-shrimplets/

and this one about diseases...

http://shrimpkeepersforum.com/forum/index.php?/topic/5052-shrimp-diseases-and-diagnosis/

That don't make sense now without the picture attachments.

Any ideas?

The pics in my article for the library haven't made it across either & yes I probably do have the pics still. :thumbsu:

No, unfortunately, don't have the pics  :unhappy:

Didn't think I would have needed to keep them as a backup.

Those lost pics would have been uploaded to the SKF site.

Library pics won't come across but they should still be in the post that got promoted. I just need to relink them.

Jayc, that second link has the photos but as attachments. I've done a rough fix for the 1st post in that thread.

Ok, I've updated the first thread and parts of the second thread for you. All you need to do to fix the others is edit your post, go to full editor and then down the bottom you'll see the attachments to add to the post.

Original is still here, it's in the competition forums. All the attachments are still there. It might actually be easier for me to get those articles fixed and then to re-promote rather than fixing the articles.

Cool, sounds like a plan. If it doesn't work then I'll go back & reattach them, thanks Nogi! :thumbsu:

There are several Stickies and posts which have been messed up, be it pictures or tables, that have not transferred well.

I've been taking responsibility in fixing some of my own posts.

But we should let others know to fix theirs up too. Especially stickied posts, library articles and any that might have useful info in it.

You know, share the load of keeping this forum the best.

I've just fixed up a handful of articles. Still a lot to sort out. If people could sort out the source posts, it makes it easier for me to fix the article.

One interesting thing he mentioned was "Bacteria pressure", which I guess just means number of bacteria around.  Yet I see all these other videos from shrimpkeepers bragging about how much bacteria their filtering system holds. Also interesting is no mention of using anti-biotics to treat bacterial infection.  I think that has fallen out of favor recently.

It has been a few weeks now and I have done a couple of large water changes. I tested the water parameters this morning, GH6 and KH2, TDS 140 and PH 7.5. Obviously the PH is off but there isn't anything in the tank that should cause the PH to rise to this figure so I will just run the tank for another month with 10% weekly water changes (probably just with RO water) and see where we are at that point. The RO water tests at PH6, and the KH and GH in the tank could come down as they are at the upper limits for Caridina shrimps! There are only about 10 very small snails in there at this point, but they seem to be doing well enough.

I believe these to be very rare in Australia so you may even consider making it a longer term plan and produce your own by starting with the best CRS you can get as that is where the pure lines started! Depends how patient and interested in the project you are, but would save money as well? If I recall correctly it takes from 8 generations of selective breeding? They sell them at micro aquatic shop but do not ship to Western Australia, but that means they are available in Australia. https://microaquaticshop.com.au/products/pure-red-line-grade-ss-shrimp Good luck and just maybe smeone on here may point you in the right direction or be able to supply you with some.
