Moss ID please

Just want to check if this rose moss or pearl moss? (or neither?). Thanks!

It's pretty hard to tell but if you could get a macro shot close up of the leaves on the strands if you can it would make it easier to ID. :encouragement:

Hc yes :) but those on the rocks def not xmas moss.

I will get a better macro shot and post it up tonight.

It looks like rose moss to me but its hard to tell! Mosses can look so very different depending on the conditions they have been grown in.

JAG Aquatic, one of the sponsors, have really good pics of Pearl moss and Rose moss.

Which looks more like single strands.

I can't quite tell in your photo if it looks the same.

Don't look like either of the ones in JAG's site.
