Hi all

I thought I would post up my newest venture.

The plan is to set this up with some cherry shrimp in mind, unsure which way I am going to go yet.

Feel free to throw some advice.

So, specs are as follows.

(Also have a 2ft 2x24w tubes over it also to help things get going.

Hardware:

Easy-Aqua 13mm Lily Pipe Kit (New style outlet)

Easy-Aqua Thermo

C02 Pro Kit with Ista Reactor

Plants:

How it sits as of 18/08/2013:

Tree placement isnt 100% at the moment.

So now, I play the waiting game and watch this all grow in.

I have more trees to make, unsure if I wanna build forests on both sides, or open up the RHS with open space, opinions would be great.

Stunning tank mate, only problem would be catching the shrimp. You would have to wait till they came to feed?

The trees are easily removed for cleaning and trimming, catching shrimp will be easy enough.

This also makes moving them around to find the sweet spot a lot easier.

Thanks for the nice words, means a lot, I need to bust the camera out and get some good shots now it is all set up, but that would involve shuffling some things around, as right now it doesnt look the best. Algae has taken over a little of the riccia, which is normal for a fresh ADA tank, it's clearing up with water changes.

I may, or may of not got some inhabitants to .. Who wants to see???

Can I ask what the moss is with your shrimp?

i think trees both sides :)

Willow moss is correct. I started with a small amount I pulled out of my girlfriends tank when rescaping.

It has multiplied quickly, with no c02 just growing under my LED's before I planted this out.

I think the wood needs a bit of a trim, and maybe some more moss tied, but for now, things are merry!

The hardest thing, getting used to the breeder box, jeeze its loud.

Look what just happened...

Already have 2 tanks... WHY NOT MORE!

Picking this 2x 30cm cubes and cabinets some time in the next couple days.

Thinking purely air driven breeders to keep running costs down..

Now i just need to figure out where I am going to put them all.

Need to shuffle some stuff around at home to make room.

$125 for both of these, total bargain!

Bedside tables & night lights! :victorious:

When I get home' date=' i should take a picture of my room...

actually maybe I shouldnt, its a freaking pig sty!

On the left side of my bed I have my "Winter Willows" and on the other side of the bed, at other end of room, i have my 2 footer...

Here is a picture.... please excuse my amazing MS Paint skills ;)

4 tanks in 1 room... could get dangerous....

Maybe i could remove shelf 1, as it has nothing on it, its also right near the only power point in the room....

And yes, I have a sink AND tap in my room... makes water changes a breeeeeze!
