NoGi's Shrimp Macros

A couple I took today. For some reason my macro mojo has gone. Not sure what's going on with that. :beaten:

Fooling around with lighting to see what other types of shots I can get:

Your mojo may be gone but your creativity has increased. Very intriguing photos. I really like the extra definition the shadows provide.

Great work Nogi.

I really like the second photo. Looks like the shrimp is looking over it's shoulder at you.

Loving the macros Nogi. Now the decisions, a couple of Taiwans or a Canon 100mm macro?

My Canon EFS 18-200mm just isn't good enough to get the detailed close ups.

Thanks guys. I've been wanting to get a shot of my Riffles for a little while now. They are so quick to dash back as soon as someone appears.

Riffle, quality not so great as this one was hiding under my tree which blocked off flash access. Had to brighten post shot:

Not a shrimp but not wanting to create a thread just for one photo:

I love how the riffles appear with the yellow in the first shot. Makes them look like they are huge.

Thanks for the pictures in the article for the library too.
