I saw BB adds calcium / mineral powders for his shrimp, does anyone else ?

And are they for cherry or mainly tigers/CRS/bees ?

Might be another thing on the shrimp shopping list. :)

High calcium in water is apparently key. I dose liquid calcium and sometimes powdered calcium. Dont like the powdered stuff but the liquid calcium is potent.

GH is a reasonable measure of calcium.

Yes, you can buy a Ca test kit in most LFS.

Calcium Powder is white

Alternatively you can use a commercial product such as BIOMAX white pellet or make your own by using crushed egg shell to supply a calcium carbonate supplement. If you do use calcium carbonate it will increase some of your parameters so dont use a lot.
