Cherries!

Thought I should put up some picks of my cherries. Please ignore the ridiculous amount of pond snail shells on the substrate, these guys will be moving tanks soon hopefully. From my limited knowledge most of my cherries look like Fire Red Grade. All the females are solid red, have red legs and no cracks in the carapace or body.

Also a few of the mature females have the pale stripe down their backs, and the shell is really opaque with lighter and darker mottled patterns. I will try and get some better photos, maybe clear some space in the snail shell graveyard and try to lure them out with some food.

Would love some other opinions, because as I said, I'm no expert!

Fire Reds?

Does she look like Painted Fire Red grade?

I don't think they would be classified as Painted Fire but they do have very good colour. Painted fire has much more solid colour :encouragement: Below are some examples of Painted Fire Reds from overseas, the colour looks like it's on the outside of the shell, not the inside, if that makes sense :encouragement:
