RO unit not working properly

My RO unit has never worked very well, so I got new filters for it, even though it was new.

My husband opened up the canisters to change them and guess what?

The main one was empty, no wonder, rang the store I got it from and they said its impossible????

What was the TDS coming off the RO unit .... What was missing ? the carbon or the resin ?

The main compartment is the filter membrane the most expensive part!

My unit has 4 sections, 2 are verticals, 2 are horizontal. One of the horizontals is a sealed unit, change the whole thing.

The other horizontal which is bigger, that was the one that was empty, when hubby rang the supplier they said impossible cause that's the main part??????????????????

My poor shrimp!!!!!!!!

By the way, it cost me over $200 to replace all the insides!

Have you spoken to the manufacturer, When mine came the tap attachment leaked and they sent a new one out the next day they were extremely helpful so if you got the one from the Queensland company speak to them.
