Rain Water

Its raining dogs and cats. I have 2 buckets on the balcony collecting water.

Heard rain water is good stuff. :)

Also went to work this morning got sent home paid double bubble because of the rain.

Rain is good.

LOL, rain is good ! Sweet.

Many fish/shrimp breeders use rain water to excite their breeding program. Best to let the rain, fall for a little while, before collecting it for your shrimp tank, so that it doesn't catch any potential airborne pullutants etc....I personally not use rain water, just RO....

I only use rainwater for my fish but I have an RO unit now for my shrimp, my RO unit has a TDS of 5-10ppm, the rainwater was 40ppm & the tap water is about 450ppm. If the rain is falling straight into the buckets then you should be right, just check the TDS & buff it with some minerals. If its runoff that is draining into the buckets, then I would throw the first half a bucket or so away as this will probably contain chemicals that have washed off your roof & stuff :encouragement:
