Hey Guys,

i feel warm and welcome to this forum, the information on here has been really helpful.

its my first time keeping shrimps but not the first time having an aquarium :)

Hi what shrimp do you keep?

Hi fishmosy, i'm currently on my 2nd week of cycling the tank, mind you i had help on cycling the tank from my mates fish tank. He also gave me 2 cherry shrimp to see if they survive and so far their doing well from what i can see.

i really like the look of the CRS and planning to get a few low grade ones to see if they can survive in the tank.

but i've been testing the water for stability other than that i specifically had setup the tank for CRS (thanks to the information provided on this website).

what about you? what shrimp do you keep?

I keep CRS and some cherry variants, but I'm really into native Australian  Caridina at the moment. I have threads in the Field Trip and Australian Caridina spp. subforums that show off my tanks and shrimp and I highly encourage you to check them out. Who knows, maybe you'll get hooked onto some of our amazing natives too. :5565bf0371061_D:

sorry i have red cherry shrimps totally forgot, cool i would like to see your CRS and other cherry's that you have, do you any photos?

i've been trying to look for a supplier who has CRS and i must say its really hard to find one to be honest.

anyway i will definately look into Australian Caridina, would the charmelion shrimp be classified as an Australia Caridina?

other than that i'll definately explore and check out your post.

cheers
