No worries mate, glad it arrived. Hopefully its in one piece?

Yeah mate all good for both pieces, i was just expecting it in the bag not bubble wrapped and everything lol. You went above and beyond!

You have to wrap everything well with Aus Post. In the past I've Sent stuff without wrapping and it arrived in pieces. In your case you would have recieved splinters!

Yes I am thinking it might be worth bubblewrapping rhe foamboxes we ship shrimp in after rhe experience I had this last week shipping to regional nsw! See attached.. 48/50 shrimp survived..post-1275-14277140685569_thumb.jpeg

Edit - I did send this inside a prepaid sachel.. i guess it could have been handled differently if it was just the box itself and not the box loose inside the bag!

48/50 is good though :) if you sold listing as less then 48 shrimp you would of been laughing as the xtras covered you.

AusPost deliery people are assholes sometimes

yeh the restwere a little stressed though and she lost a few more within the next couple days. I did of course send more than was expected so that was all good :-)

i reckon its likely auspost couldn't afford to service their vehicle and were forced to use my package to support the van while they fixed it?

not sure what else could be responsible for the whole bottom part to get cracked like that ! [emoji6]

Yea wish we had other transport options but air is WAY to expensive, I was going to put 2 boxes on for 32kg last week and it was going to be 420 bills to Sydney from Cairns, going post now in small lots. Most stuff I send goes on the receivers account so I have no idea on what it costs and its cheaper with an account

I have made the comment before, I have been at that air port picking up other freight and seen Aus post freight coming in and the bags we use get chucked around like you would not believe and into bins about 1.5mts deep, but we can not complain as we are not really suppose to send live stock in the post, so can not make claims.

I have herd there is other ways but can not find any one that knows, they think they know but when pressed nothing, any one???????

Thanks guys I have to send some drift wood off and have some I was going to sell here and transport has just been solved, bubble wrap TA big time
