Mixing yellow and orange?

Featured Replies

Wifey offers to pay me some yellow and orange cherries as a birthday gift. I will give you a secret : spend long minutes watching pictures of these nice shrimps, make sure your half see you, and especially if you're close from your birthday day, you have good chance to get a set of shrimps as gift  :thumbsu:

That being said, I'm short of cycled tank at the moment, I only have 1 left.

What if I put the yellow and orange together. Being both Neocaridina Heteropoda, they will interbreed, but I read somewhere that Orange and yellow can interbreed without reversing to the grey wild morph?

It is even said that you can have the surprise to get some green from that?

I dont have experience with keeping these two together but I dont think it is a good idea if they are breeding true.
