Hi shrimplovers!

The other topic with all the pictures was getting kind of long so I post it in a new topic if you don't mind.
I did my best to catch the best shrimp of this contest on video again. Enjoy, hope you like it. Feel free to share this video and spread the shrimp faith!

Which are Mario's and Marcus's shrimps?

Unfortunately the Crystal Red and Black are the most difficult to film with a simple camcorder. A small bright shrimp on a dark background, hard to handle contrast. So believe me if I say they look much better in real life.

But to answer your question:

Marcus Hafermann, first place group 6 with Crystal Red: 5:05 - 5:14

Mario Portera, second place group 6 with Crystal Red: 5:15- 5:20

Marcus Hafermann, thirdplace group 6 with Crystal Black: 4:57 - 5:01

But I have to be honest, I'm not sure if this is Mario's winning group or the second group that end up in the video. I had so many shots, that I kind of lost track . I know for sure the nr 1 and nr 3 because I taped the name on the tank, but with Mario's shrimp I forgot. If I recal correct, this shot is his second group. And the group that won second price is not in the video. I have some shots of them I believe, but they were not clear so they did not end up in the video. Next time I will try to tape the winners more precise. But don't be sad, I know for sure some nice pictures will come soon. I saw many photographers with big equipment, so there should be good pictures for sure.

edit: on their website they state: "The half of the team has catch a cold after the show now. That is the reason, why we will publish the resukts in detail next week.". So be patient :D.

Thanks. :)

Hmmm... So Marcus breed those slender PRL. I prefers those round type like Mario's shrimp.

LOL!!! How come half the team has fallen sick? Too stress out?

Maybe next time and if my schedule permits, I could send my shrimp up either for display or competition (I doubt I will win anything. LOL!!!). In this way, I will be able to catch-up with everyone. ^^

By any chance, do you know how those APAC folks brought their shrimp there?

Would be fun, see you next year!

As far as I know, they bring them themselves and they send them by mail in a Styrofoam box. At the end of the show, they are shipped back. Believe it or not, but most of them seem to survive this without any trouble. I know Mario has shrimp that traveled all across Europe, not much shrimp can say that on a party :D.

Fantastic video dude, those shrimp are amazing! :thumbsu:

I think carrying over is more reliable. Hmmm..... Maybe will do that next year. :D

BTW, the awesome white Snow Whites of Marcus Hafermann you see in the video, has won the Dennerle € 1000,- price. I feel they deserve it. Must have been a long road to achive these results.
