Mulberry Leaves?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, I'm wondering if there's enough interest from people wanting to purchase Mulberry leaves to warrant me collecting from a local source and offering in bundles on the SKF Marketplace?

Basically I have had a hell of a time finding Mulberry locally and now that I have, I'm wondering about people who don't have access to them.

Would not be asking much $, a good sized bunch for $5-$10 depending on how long it works out to collect/package/post.

What think you?

I would be interested. I do have a friend that has been telling that a cousin has a tree but I have not been able to get any yet lol.

I have a tree here and everyone I've ever asked if they wanted some (free) said they had access to their own tree anyway. That said it's good of you to keep our SKF friends in mind, Tankey.

Disciple, remember that your local authorities might seize items like fresh leaves from the post.

That's a good point about authorities seizing items from the post in WA Kiz. WA seem to be a bit retentive when it comes to plants... thought probably for good reason?

Well, now that this post is out there I suppose anyone that wants some can give me a yell by PM.

Fair enough

Thanks anyway Tankeyone and Kiz.

Lucky you mentioned it cause a friend in Singapore was going to send me some that he gets from Japan lol Time to plant a mulberry tree in my mum garden :D

WA and Tas are both difficult. Good reason? Well biosecurity is definitely important but I think a lot of what goes on is misguided and possibly unnecessary. Remember the same people introduced Cane Toads and Mosquitofish and then have the nerve to pick on the aquarium community. Down here they also introduce trout to our waterways annually.

It is fair enough I am sure I'll find some locally soon.

That's good

That's awesome keego!

No worries, you can goggle "public harvest", feral fruit" to name a few and just include the major city name. Glad to help out.

I was looking through the different spots and noticed one that was quite familiar. I called my mate and it was a tree in his backyard lol. So I am getting some leaves on Friday. Thanks Keego.
