CRS Tank Temperature

Featured Replies

Been reading about water parameters and tank health during the night for CRS and was wondering what other members here set their temperature to for their CRS, I have read 21/23c, I have mine currently at 24c (without CRS in there at the moment), should I drop it down to 22c or 23c?

Just curious what other members here have their temps at.

Cheers.

I have mine temps at 22 in winter and 24 in summer.

I have mine temps at 22 in winter and 24 in summer.

No worries, cheers.

Mine's running between 23-25 and they seem happy.

Ive got mine down to 25 atm (from 29) and I can see a huge difference in colour and activity, I think ill bring it down to 23.5 they seem so happy in the cooler water. my snowballs have saddled up like there going on a muster haha

Yeah I set mine to 23c this morning so will see how it goes when I get the CRS, also got the Peacock Moss this morning so that's all tied down.

I have mine at 23-24 degrees too.

I've got mine set at 22deg. :D

My chiller is set to 24 so that its not turning on as much in summer to reduce costs

I run my CRS tank at 22.

OK, so I've dropped it to 22c seeing a few of you have the same and I know you guys have success with that temp.

Only issue is with this heat, I can never see the shrimps due to condensation. Haha.

Yeah where I am we get shocking days, like high 40's, we got 51c last year in Jan, was unreal, that's the hottest I've experience, house it really well cooled though.
