I found this in all my tanks - not sure what are they. Please id them.

Can they be baby snails? I have mystery snails but only one on each section within the tank so if they are baby snail I'm not sure how do they come from.

Looks like the common "pond snail"

Probably come in on a plant.

Should I squeeze them dead? Are they harmful?

No they are not harmful

Just don't do to many at once

They shrimp will eat Em after you have squished em :)

snails don't need a partner to breed, they are hermafridite as far as i know.

Thanks guy for the input. Well I need to squeeze them ASAP otherwise cause ammonia spike.

While many snails are hermaphrodites, they are not self-fertilising. They still need a partner to breed.

Mystery snails travel above the water line to lay their eggs, so keeping them apart may not prevent them from getting together.

After few days not paying attention on one of my tanks, it is swarmed with baby pond snails on glass and not sure why. Although they are harmless, I just feel disgusted with their presence. Any input on how to kill them except physically have to pick them up?

You'll never rid them all once they've taken hold. I just live with them, they make for good snacks every now and then for my shrimp when I squish them.
