Thanks for letting me join this great forum and hope I can at some point contribute somthing back. I am from the United Kingdom and have two tropical fish tanks setup with various nano fish, the larger one with cherry shrimp who are already breading!

Here is a photo from this morning, I'm writing this with my phone on tapatalk so if the image size is to large sorry and please feel free to delete it :)

I have moderately soft water with a Tds of around 65 from the tap and the cherries are fed very well. Some are slightly transparent with dark red markings, and some are a lighter red with a big Pink stripe running down the length of their body. All were purchased as 'mixed shrimp' which I wanted to give a better home compared to what they had in the LFS.

I am currently shopping for a 3rd shrimp only tank of around 70 litres, brackish and unheated for some opea ula shrimp. The sponge air filter is on its way to me and intend to buy everything slowly over the next month or two.

I hope I have let you know a bit about me and haven't bored you all! I will be asking a fair few questions about shrimps as I class my self as a novice but I'm always willing to learn and listen so long as it helps me keep a healthy tank.

Regards,

Welcome to the forum, hope you have as much fun here as we do! :welcome:
