My Black Cherries

Featured Replies

I found these in my super red cherry tank, I took them out as culls, put them in my sons Endler's Livebearer tank, figured I'll see what happens. Here are the offsprings of the few brown shrimp I "culled".....

Let me know what you think....

These are the original ones!!!

Wow big changes in 3 generations

It seems like the less light I have the darker these shrimp become!

Damn I had heaps of culls like that and gave them away! I always did say culls are still good!

Great images of some awesome looking shrimp! Amazing what a few generations can achieve!

Yeah, I had a big surprise when I spotted the first full black shrimp in the tank. Had to do a double take, lol, I did manage that picture of it hanging from the plant thought!

Hahaha, I've kept mine, they throw out all the surprises for me including royal blue and once a long time ago some beaut red King Kong looking cherry morph. And they are awesome to look at too. I like the Tiger stripe patterns.

Good work @Gabe129

Very cool patterns & love the progression, can't wait to see the results of the next few generations. :thumbsu:

I am very curious as well! But it hardly can get any darker than the last ones! They were blue to the naked eye!

Awesome striped shrimp.
